The happiest 12 hours of a day!

How do I get into this?

Some days ago I and my friends were planning a trip to go somewhere, a place where we had never been, after a very long discussion we came to a conclusion that where we should go.

How did the trip came into existence?

After, we all decided the place I asked my parents about visiting there and as an indian child and that too not an adult I was knowing that they won’t allow me to go on that small trip alone with my friends. But I wanted to go on that trip very badly. So, I told them a lie despite of knowing the fact that I will be scolded very badly if they get to know and the lie was that a school teacher is going to join us, and they allowed.

Where did we plan to go?

After “n” number of suggestions we planned to go to pavagadh- a hill station in pavagadh village in the panchmahal district near vadodara in gujarat. The hill station is famous for it’s maha-kali temple which magnetise thousands of pilgrims everyday to visit there.

How many members were there and how did we go!

After all that, we booked a cab and we were 09 people all together excluding driver of the cab. We departed at 8:00 AM and reached there by 10:45.

Route to hill after reaching pavagadh village.

Once you reach pavagadh you have to take car and it will drop you at a small village called manchi.

How we started

After reaching manchi we started stepping forward to the hill, in between we took stops to rest and invented some places there, like forts and it was so adventurous and self satisfying that we spent half of our day there and were enjoying. After that we started stepping ahead again and reached at the top around 4:00 P.M.

What things we did in between!

When we were about to start the trek we got divided into groups because some wanted to go from the cable car and some wanted to go walking but finally we all came to the conclusion to go by walking. In between we stopped at place and drank a drink named taadi(people drink this as refreshment in winters). which is extracted from a tree name taad, It was truely amazing and tasty. After that, We climbed a fort which is mentioned in a picture above and shouted at our highest pitches there. At that time when we had to climb over the forts we did but when it came to coming down everyone came down I was all dismantled and couldn’t find a way to come back down and started streeting myself sitting on the top of the fort because it seemed so harder and the height of the fort was also tall. But finally with all the lame jokes and courage provided by my fellows I somehow managed to come down from there. The most interesting thing we did there was, we tried conversing with the animals as well. There were number of donkeys to load the material from the bottom to the top and we tried talking to them which was freaking hilarious.

The coming back!

After having our darshan, we started coming down and reached at the bottom by 4:00 P.M., we all were hungry but we had to depart from there and we departed from there around 4:15 P.M. and in between had some refreshments. But, the coming back was horrifying and comic as well. We were not so sure about the thing that was going to happen with us. we all were scared if our parents would scold us and everyone was laughing and threatening each other. And finally we reached our home by 8:00 P.M.

The conclusion

The trip was a the most amazing trip I had in my life till now and it taught me many things that with time you get a lot of chances to do things and to manage your things in your own when no elder is there with you. And finally it was all over with the stock of memories we got to store in our small pockets.
